Meet Shadow: A Gentle Soul Ready to Step Into the Sunshine
Shadow arrived at the shelter alongside his best buddy, Bojangles, and while Bojangles might be ready to work the room, Shadow prefers to take things at his own pace. He’s a bit of a “let me get to know you first” kind of guy. Give him a little patience, a kind voice, and perhaps a strategically offered treat, and it won’t be long before Shadow decides you’re officially part of his inner circle.
Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine. Shadow loves going for walks, especially when there are treats involved along the way. In his opinion, every good adventure should include snack breaks, and frankly, we think he may be onto something.
Shadow shares a strong bond with Bojangles, but he also has what it takes to spread his wings and begin a new adventure on his own. With a loving home, a patient person, and plenty of walks to look forward to, we believe he could adjust beautifully.
Shadow may not be the dog who rushes to the front of the line demanding your attention. He’s the one quietly waiting for someone special to notice him.
And once he decides you’re his person? You may discover that the shy dog standing in the shadows was a little ray of sunshine all along.
